10 Watches You Shouldn't Buy Right Now (And Why)
4. Sinn Hydro Series – $3,000+

Sinn’s U50 is a fan favorite—robust, minimal, and under $3,000. But the Hydro series takes things to the extreme by offering 5,000m water resistance via oil-filled cases.
While technically impressive, this design makes the watch hard to service. You can’t take it to a local watchmaker, and servicing must go through Sinn directly. Unless you're deep-sea diving (literally), you’re paying for specs you’ll never use. Stick with the U50 and avoid the hassle.
