6 HARBOR FREIGHT PITTSBURGH TOOLS WORTH BUYING (AND 4 TO AVOID)
❌ Avoid: Pittsburgh Cushion Grip Screwdriver Set (12-Piece)

Some Harbor Freight screwdrivers are so bad, they’re practically a running joke. This 12-piece Cushion Grip Set is one of them. You’d think something with “cushion grip” in the name might be a step up. You’d be wrong.
The Phillips heads are notoriously deformed out of the package, and the shafts are often misaligned. Even worse, the soft grips are poorly glued, so they tend to spin in your hand or disintegrate into goo when exposed to oil. And if the grip doesn’t fail, the entire head might — it’ll just spin freely while you curse.
Weirdly, this isn’t even the cheapest screwdriver set Harbor Freight sells. Spend two bucks more and grab the Pittsburgh 8-Piece set instead. It actually works.
