5. Looking Ahead

Now that I’ve established myself in the trucking world, I can see the opportunities that lie ahead. The trucking industry offers plenty of room for growth. With experience, I can move into specialized freight or longer routes that offer even higher pay. I’ve also started considering becoming an owner-operator one day, which would give me even more control over my career.

For anyone in their mid-30s contemplating a career change, I highly recommend considering a CDL. The trucking industry is full of opportunity and has provided me with the stability and excitement I was seeking. The change wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. I’ve never looked back, and I’m excited to see where this new path will take me.
