BATTERY BRANDS RANKED FROM WORST TO BEST
6. Rayovac and ACDelco

Rayovac has been around for a while, and while they may seem like an older legacy brand, their Fusion line gives them a modern edge. The Fusion AA batteries have excellent reviews: 4.8 stars on Home Depot, 4.7 at Lowe’s, and 4.6 on Amazon. Testers liked their decent lifespan and fair cost-per-hour. Without the Fusion line, Rayovac's performance would be more middle-of-the-road.
ACDelco, better known for automotive batteries and owned by GM, also makes consumer-grade AA batteries. Though there's not much lab data available, CinemaSound’s testing found that ACDelco's AA alkaline was the cheapest in the group—and the second-cheapest overall. Despite modest performance, they earned top marks for value.
