BATTERY BRANDS RANKED FROM WORST TO BEST
5. PKCell

PKCell’s alkaline and zinc batteries are fairly average, but the Carbon Zinc version performed the best in CinemaSound’s tests for fan duration. The PKCell Ultra Alkaline batteries, while slightly behind the zinc model in these tests, didn’t fare well in a second round when tested with Saramonic UWmic9 wireless transmitters.
However, it’s PKCell’s NiMH rechargeable batteries that stand out in testing. Their 1300, 2200, and 2600 mAh batteries all performed well, easily matching their ratings and handling high loads without issue. While the 1300 mAh battery delivered solid results, Jensen points out that it’s on the lower end for AA battery capacity. Meanwhile, the 2600 mAh battery (which actually tested at 2801 mAh) ranked at the top for capacity among all AA cells. Though PKCell may not seem impressive at first glance, it’s clear they deliver where it matters most.
