BATTERY BRANDS RANKED FROM WORST TO BEST
12. Fuji and Fujitsu

Batteries sold under the Fujitsu and Fuji (or Fujifilm) names are made by the FDK Group---the same company that produces some IKEA batteries and owns the former Sanyo factories. We're combining these two brands here not because of the name similarity, but because their performance and manufacturing origins are so closely linked.
In tests by Gigazine, Fuji batteries showed slightly below-average power output. More notably, CinemaSound found Fuji's EnviroMax AAs had the highest cost per hour among all tested alkaline batteries---even worse than Duracell Procell.
Fujitsu's results were more consistent but still unimpressive. Most of their batteries ranked near the bottom---except for the Fujitsu Universal Power AA. That particular battery struggled under low drain but performed surprisingly well in high-drain (3-amp) tests. Unfortunately, the rest of Fujitsu's line doesn't match up.
