2. Water Leaking Indoors?

This is usually caused by a clogged drainage system:
Clean the Drain Line: Find the drain pipe (usually a PVC pipe near the indoor unit). Use a long flexible brush or pour in a bit of diluted vinegar to break down buildup. Wait 30 minutes and flush with water.
Check the Drain Pan: Open the front panel and inspect the drain pan under the evaporator coil. If it's full of water or moldy, clean it out with a soft cloth and a mix of water and dish soap.
3. AC Won't Turn On or Respond to Remote?
Don't worry---try these quick checks:
Check the Power Source: Make sure the unit is securely plugged in and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Flip the switch off and on again to reset.
Replace the Remote Batteries: It sounds simple, but weak or dead batteries are often the culprit. Swap in fresh batteries and try again.
Try Manual Operation: Many AC units have a small power button under the front panel for manual control. Press it to see if the unit responds.
