Every Generation of General Motors LS Engine Ranked Worst to Best

11. LS9 – “The Supercharged Savage”

This thing doesn’t just make power — it makes statements. The 6.2L LS9 powered the Corvette ZR1 to 638 hp and 205 mph. It came with a 2.3L supercharger, forged everything, and was basically GM flexing on Ferrari and Lamborghini.
