These are GM’s iron-block crate engines built specifically to be boosted. Think of them as the base for your 1,000-hp fantasy. The B15 can handle 15 pounds of boost, and the B8 takes 8 — without crying.

But here’s the catch: you only get a long block. You’ll still need to pony up for the intake, induction, and other bolt-ons. Oh, and they’re heavy. So unless you're gunning for the drag strip and not worried about carving corners, there are better bang-for-buck options out there.
